The Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board is offering preparatory courses this summer for students entering Grade 9.

Grade 9 Summer Math Prep Course
This preparatory course will cover 10 key math concepts -- 5 from Grade 8 math and 5 new from Grade 9 material. Topics include fractions, integers, equations, ratios and rates, and other areas of the curriculum.

Grade 9 Summer Literacy Prep Course
This literacy program will address the following skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening, and research. Students will explore and use a variety of digital tools that they will encounter in high school.
