Classes begin on Tuesday, September, 2, 2025 and we look forward to seeing our students’ smiling faces once again.
Class Placements
Class placements will be shared on August 29th via School Messenger.
There are many factors that are considered when placing your child in a particular grouping. Realize that we cannot make a decision for one child that may cause us to make an unfair or inequitable decision for other children. With this in mind, requests by parents to place their child(ren) with certain teachers, their friends, or with their siblings may not be in the best interest of all students. With this premise in place, we also consider the following:

- Accommodations for our children with special needs

- Academic programs or levels

- Students who are a positive support and influence each other

- Students who are a negative or antagonistic influence on each other

- Number or classes per grade

- Students who were in a combined/split class this past year
Please be aware that staff spend many hours compiling class lists and we do our best to ensure every child is placed in the most appropriate class. Due to the reasons mentioned above, no class changes will occur.
Suggested Supplies List
To help your child start the year prepared, we’ve attached a Suggested Supplies List. These items are recommended to support learning and organization in the classroom.
Tips for Getting Ready for School
- Establish routines by adjusting betimes and morning routines.
- Talk about school positively! Share excitement and curiosity about the new year
- If possible, walk or drive by the school to build familiarity.
- Practice independence: Encourage your child to pack their own bag, open lunch bag. etc.
