Parent Engagement

Families play a vital role in promoting kindness and inclusion. Use these discussion prompts to start conversations at home:

  • What does belonging mean to you?
  • Have you ever seen someone being bullied? What did you do?
  • Have you ever bullied someone or done something hurtful? How did you feel afterward?
  • Why do you think some kids bully others?
  • How can we make others feel included?
  • Who are trusted adults you can talk to if you need help?
  • Why is kindness important? Share a time someone was kind to you.
